Great weekend at Regionals
Laura Mclendon rode in Adult Amature First leve championship class and came in 8th in huge class of 24 riders. Very proud of her and her horse Celeste
Danielle Eckley qualified at Jr/Yr first level class and did have a great ride. She won her Second level class today with a score of 62.450
All in all it was a great weekend

Just a reminder summer is around the corner and summer camp is starting to fill up fast./
We have added more weeks on this year and are looking forward to a great summer.Also welcoming back alot of horse favorites such as Binn Movin and Samson who are coming home for the summer from college.
Another reminder for the Tom Poulin Dressage clinic thursday the 26th. Rider slots are full but
Summer Camp is just around the corner and we are hoping to see all our campers once again. Riding (2 rides a day) , horse care, swimming, arts and crafts and LOTS OF FUN! New horses and a new faces. On premises horse shows for the campers to compete in (June and July)
Summer Camp at Sonora Creek offers a great learning experience and a whole lot of fun for boys and girls ages 5 through 15. They can spend an amazing week (or more) at the farm learning to ride, swimming in the beautiful pool and having fun all while making new friends. Memories made with our horses, caring councilors and the other children will last a lifetime!
- • All campers must provide their own lunch & towels.
- • Summer Camp at Sonora Creek runs from June 4th, 2012 through July 27th, 2012 ( no camp during the week of July 4th)
- • Hours are from 9am – 2pm or 9am

Well today was the last session of first part of L program with a wonderful group of dresssge trainers and riders. This is such a valuable program and the wealth of information was overwhelming.
Since the program was held at our farm it was a little more than stressful, but inspite of the wind and rain it was great. All the horses and riders performed well
Stay tuned for upcoming clinics at Sonora in the next few months. Possible clinic with Tom Poulin the last week of April.
If anyone has suggestions for someone they would like to have for future clinics let me know

The Tom Poulin,USEF “S” Judge, Dressage Clinic is on February 25th and 26th at Misty Meadows Farm. I have attended and held many of Tom’s clinics. They are fabulous! Misty Meadows is a wonderful farm in Helen! You won’t regret it. I hope to see you there!
